ALEXANDRIA, VA (June 24, 2019) –Transformation Systems, Inc. (TSI) is honoring the life and celebrating the memory of the company’s Chief Operations Officer, Robert Wilson.

Prior to his passing, Wilson developed and implemented a transition strategy to ensure the continuity and forward momentum of TSI’s strategic goals.  His domain of responsibility will be largely managed by TSI Director of Operations, Michael Olverson.  Olverson will continue operations management with the strong foundation Wilson put in place.

“TSI lost a respected leader, mentor, and friend,” said TSI’s Michael Olverson.  “Bob was, and always will be, a representation of TSI’s motto to make every thought, word and deed count.  We are all fortunate to have known him and we will celebrate his life and perpetuate his legacy as a pillar of TSI’s continuing success.”

Wilson joined TSI in 2008 where his leadership of systems, technology, and infrastructure enabled TSI to rank as one of Inc. 5000’s “Fastest Growing Companies in America” for 5 consecutive years.  Bob cared deeply about each one of TSI’s employees, and the policies and processes he put in place contributed to a company culture recognized by the Washington Post as a “Best Place to Work” in the DC Metro region.  He leaves a legacy of strong operations acumen and commitment to policies that support people and innovation.

Wilson was 63 years old.   Wilson assisted many clients – small to Fortune 50 on a wide variety of projects. Within larger consulting companies, he has directed staff for all aspects of engineering services. An entrepreneur, Bob founded the company One Environmental, where he directed environmental consulting projects for over a decade. Wilson received his Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech. He was a generous philanthropist, and to honor that his family has designated the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, www.cbf.org, for charitable contributions in his memory.
