ALEXANDRIA, VA ( May 22, 2017) – Transformation Systems, Inc. (TSI) held their annual Leaders are Readers event at the Easter Seals Child Development Center of Northern Virginia. As part of the Leaders are Readers effort, TSI also donated 100 books to the Easter Seals The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Child Development Center.
In this patriotism themed event, TSI team members shared a story about the United States flag, demonstrated flag etiquette, and participated in an activity with the children. In addition to sharing a message of patriotism, TSI held the event to spread the message: Leaders are Readers.
The books donated to the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Child Development Center were collected at a TSI book drive. Each year the company’s employees donate books to support Easter Seals Serving DC|MD|VA.
TSI’s Leaders are Readers event is part of the company’s community engagement program, Feed to LeadSM. The mission of the Feed to Lead Program is to nourish the body, mind and spirit by supporting leadership potential in those who need a helping hand. To this end, TSI supports strategically aligned organizations. TSI has earmarked 2017 funds and volunteer hours for the following organizations: Easter Seals Serving DC|MD|VA, American Red Cross, and the March of Dimes.
