ALEXANDRIA, VA (April 14, 2022) – TSI’s CEO, Marta Wilson, was presented with the Easterseals Advocacy Award alongside Amazon Web Services, General John Raymond, and Mrs. Mollie Raymond. The award recipients were honored for their exemplary commitment to advancing opportunities for children and adults with disabilities, including military families. The awards were presented at the Advocacy Awards Dinner on April 12 at the National Building Museum.
Bobbie Kilberg presented the award to Marta stating, “She is also an extraordinarily impactful philanthropist, from hands-on personal volunteering, to creating her company’s FEED to Lead program, and gracing Easterseals as a donor, advocate, and former Board Chair.”
For over 100 years Easterseals has been serving communities living with disabilities across the nation. Today they serve every age, every stage, and every population living with a disability or special need, including veterans and military families. The life-changing programs for children, seniors, military families, and more assists thousands of families, many of whom are from low-income areas.
