Gene Green

DR. GENE GREEN

Executive Director, Clinical Operations

Dr. Green is TSI’s Executive Director of Clinical Operations and is boarded in Internal Medicine and Family Practice and has his MBA from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. He has been working with TSI in several capacities over the last 12 years and is a LEAP-certified executive coach, having coached leaders, executives, administrators, physicians, and clinical personnel throughout this time.

 

Dr. Green has over 30 years of clinical experience and is currently a partner in Maryland Primary Care Physicians (MPCP). Previously he was the CEO of South Shore Health System in Weymouth, MA from 2015-2019, was the President of Johns Hopkins Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, MD from 2013-2015 where he coordinated several research initiatives with the National Institute of Health (NIH). Since 2003, Dr. Green was with Johns Hopkins Community Physicians (JHCP) and held a number of clinical and leadership positions within that organization, including Vice President of Medical Affairs and Chief Medical Officer. His efforts within JHCP led to significant improvements in operating performance and increased patient, employee and physician satisfaction.

 

Before entering medical school, Green worked as a paramedic and a small business owner in the Tidewater area of Virginia. He earned his medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School, where he also completed a residency in family medicine and internal medicine.
