Staff Psychologist – US Army Recruiting Division (USARD) Psychology Services (multiple positions available)
Location of Work:
Primary work is performed remotely from the psychologist’s residence or personal business office within the United States, with required travel to Fort Knox, KY and to brigade and battalion headquarters and recruiting locations across CONUS and OCONUS for training, assessment, and consultation events.
Work Schedule:
Standard 40‑hour workweek, Monday through Friday, generally between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.; irregular hours, evenings, and weekends may be required to support crisis intervention, field training events, and Annual Training Conferences.
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications and Certifications
Board Certification:
Board certification in clinical or counseling psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) is preferred; psychologists who are board‑eligible or actively pursuing board certification are highly desirable.
Certifications:
Required: BLS certification. Desirable: certifications or formal training in areas such as executive coaching, resilience training, trauma, suicide risk assessment, or organizational/operational psychology.
Immunization and Health Screening:
Must meet all Army and DoD occupational health and immunization requirements for access to military installations and interaction with Soldiers, to include any mandated vaccinations, tuberculosis screening, and periodic health surveillance.
Citizenship/Legal Requirements:
U.S. citizenship is required. Psychologists must complete and maintain all security and suitability requirements, including a favorable National Agency Check with local agency and credit checks, eligibility for and maintenance of a Common Access Card (CAC), and compliance with installation access procedures.
