MICHAEL OLVERSON

Director of Operations

Michael Olverson is the Director of Operations at Transformation Systems, Inc. (TSI) with over 15 years of organizational development, management and leadership experience. He is currently responsible for the design, implementation, and sustainment of business systems and processes in Information Technology, Human Resources, and Facilities Management.  Previously, Mike provided transformation advice and assistance to multiple Navy and Marine Corps customers.  Mike’s specialties included leading TSI projects providing survey analysis, process improvement, work group effectiveness, and executive leadership support.  Colleagues appreciate Mike for his ideal blend of interpersonal skills and the ability to get things done.  During his long tenure supporting the Joint and Marine Corps Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Vehicle Programs, Mike progressed from TSI Associate to Project Manager to Program Manager.  He also supported the MRAP transition from a Joint program to service led program and ultimately facilitated a merger with the Medium and Heavy Tactical Vehicle program.

 

Prior to joining TSI, Mike supported the Naval Surface Warfare Center’s Iridium Tactical Communication project conducting equipment testing, data collection and technician training. He is also proud of the 7 years he spent as General Manager growing a small automotive services company. Mike led the company’s growth through strategic planning, organizational efficiency, targeted business development opportunities and personnel development. He is a member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt and an executive member of the Academy of Management. Mike enjoys traveling and regularly volunteers as a high school and youth lacrosse coach.

 

Mike studied Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Christopher Newport University and has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ashford University.  He has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Liberty University.
